Anxiety

If you had to choose one word to describe the teenage experience it would have to be anxiety. Growing up has its challenges and naturally teens experience levels of anxiety that can be overwhelming. Therapy is effective in helping pre-teens and teens discover their own voice and build confidence.

Teens don’t always tell their parents what’s going on. Therapy is a space where you can relax knowing that they will be safe and supported.

 

Academic Perfomance

Anxiety takes on many forms. Academic performance and perfectionism is one of the biggest culprits and the feeling that you won’t live up to your parents’ or teachers’ expectations is real.

Therapy is effective in teaching teens how to recognize their own emotions and balance their life out. When teens feel supported, there is nothing they can’t achieve.

Sometimes as parents we don’t know how to help our kids out, because they just won’t let us! Therapy is a solution to give them the support through those challenging times.
